In short

বাংলা লুডু (Bangla Ludu) is a Ludo game for Android. You can play on one phone, against the computer, or online: quick matches, rooms with friends and the জামাই বউ pair event. Online play runs on our game server, so the app creates a guest account there. There is no sign-up, no email, no phone number and no password: the account is tied to a random code the app makes, not to who you are.

Bangla Ludu never asks for your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, microphone or camera. We never sell or rent personal information.

1.Who we are

বাংলা লুডু (Bangla Ludu) is published by Tech Nest BD of Dhaka, Bangladesh. This policy explains what the Bangla Ludu Android app and its game server do with information. It covers the app distributed through Google Play under the package name com.tn.ludu, version 1.1.5 and later, and the game server that app talks to. It does not cover our other apps or the rest of the technest.com.bd website.

2.What stays on your phone

Bangla Ludu keeps these in the app's private storage on your device:

• Settings. Sound, vibration, reduce motion, language (Bangla or English) and your last Classic or Quick choice. They stay on your phone, except the language, which your guest account also stores (section 3).
• Your nickname and avatar. Chosen when you first open Bangla Ludu. The nickname does not have to be your real name, and we recommend that it isn't. Both are also stored with your guest account (section 3).
• Sign-in keys. The random install code and the keys that keep you signed in to your guest account.
• Games on one phone waiting to be counted. Games against the computer or with friends on the same phone are played on your device. When the app is next connected, it sends each game's result (the mode, whether you won and when) to your guest account, so your coins and statistics stay in step.

Coins are not money. They cannot be bought with real money, sold, transferred or exchanged for anything. Bangla Ludu is not a gambling app.

3.Your guest account and online play

The first time Bangla Ludu connects to the internet, it creates a guest account on our game server, even if you have only played on one phone. The account holds:

• a random install code created by the app — not your phone's hardware identifier and not its advertising ID — and a random player ID;
• the nickname, avatar and language you chose, and when the account was created and last used.

As you play online, the server records what it needs to run and score the games: the matches you play (seats, dice, moves, emotes, results and times), your coins and every change to them, games played and won, daily-reward claims, points, ranks and rewards in contests such as জামাই বউ, any title or badge you earn, and your জামাই বউ partner and pair invitations for the night.

With every request the server also receives the IP address your connection comes from and the app's version number. We use them to deliver the service, to stop abuse such as floods of requests, and to find and fix problems.

The game server is run for Tech Nest BD by our hosting provider. The app talks to it only over encrypted connections (HTTPS and secure WebSockets).

4.What other players can see

• The players in your match, room or quick-match queue see your nickname, avatar and colour, whether you are connected, your moves and the emotes you send. In a room that uses the house rules, they also see the dice faces you buy and the squares you steal.
• Contest leaderboards, and the top players on the Home screen, show the nickname, avatar, rank and points of the players and pairs on them. Leaderboards are public: anyone can see them in the app, anyone can read them from our server without signing in, and they may be shown on the Bangla Ludu web page.
• Your জামাই বউ partner sees you as their partner. Players you played with recently may see your nickname, avatar and whether you are online in their list of partner suggestions.
• When another player shares a win card from a game you played, it can show your nickname among the placings (section 8).

Bangla Ludu has no text or voice chat. Players can only send the fixed emotes built into the app.

5.Google Firebase

Bangla Ludu includes these Google Firebase services, provided by Google:

• Google Analytics for Firebase — which screens are opened and how the app is used (for example, when a room is created or a dice face is bought), with the device model, Android version, app version, approximate country and an app-instance identifier. Where your phone makes its advertising ID available, Analytics may read it for measurement. You can reset or delete it in your phone's settings (Google › Ads, or Privacy › Ads).
• Firebase Crashlytics — when the app crashes, a report with technical details (the code that failed, device model, Android version, app version) and your player ID, so that we can find and fix the problem.
• Firebase Remote Config — tells the app which server address to use; it uses a Firebase installation identifier.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — gives the app a token for notifications. In this version the token stays with Google and on your phone; our server does not receive it.

Google handles this information under the Google Privacy Policy and keeps it according to Firebase's retention settings.

6.Ads and purchases

Bangla Ludu may show ads served by Google AdMob, Google's advertising service — for example a video you can choose to watch for extra coins. When an ad is requested or shown, AdMob may collect your phone's advertising ID, your IP address, information about your device and the app, and how you interact with the ad, to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Google may use it to personalise the ads you see. You can turn off ad personalisation, or reset or delete the advertising ID, in your phone's settings (Google › Ads, or Privacy › Ads). Google handles this information under the Google Privacy Policy; how Google uses information from apps that use its services explains more.

If you choose to watch a video for a reward, your player ID and the match it was for are passed between AdMob and our server so that the coins can be added to your account.

We may also offer a paid option, such as removing ads. Google Play handles the payment: our server receives only the purchase confirmation (the product, a purchase token and the order number) to unlock it for your account, never your card or payment details. Coins can never be bought with money.

7.Permissions

• INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — to play online and to show whether you are connected.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13 and newer) — Android asks you before Bangla Ludu may show notifications, such as "your turn" or "a friend joined your room" while the app is in the background. You can say no, or change it later in your phone's settings.
• On Android 11 and newer Bangla Ludu may check whether WhatsApp, imo, Messenger and Telegram are installed, only so the share sheet can offer them as one-tap targets. It cannot read anything from those apps.
• Google's ads library (AdMob) and Google Play Billing declare permissions of their own, including access to the advertising ID (sections 5 and 6).

8.Sharing cards and codes

Bangla Ludu can make a small picture, called a card, when you win a game or invite friends to a room, together with a short message such as "আমার সাথে বাংলা লুডু খেলুন! রুম কোড: 7QK2MP technest.com.bd/ludu". For জামাই বউ you can share your pair code the same way. A card can show your nickname, your avatar and the room code, and a win card shows the nicknames of up to three players from that game.

Nothing is shared until you tap a share button. Then Bangla Ludu hands the card to the app you pick through the standard Android share sheet, or copies the text to your clipboard, and the receiving app's own privacy policy applies. The card image is written to the app's cache folder; Clear cache for Bangla Ludu in your phone's app settings removes it.

9.How long we keep data

We keep your guest account and its game data for as long as the account exists. The detailed log of each online match — every roll, move and emote — is deleted one day after the match ends; the match's result stays. Contest leaderboards restart daily, weekly or monthly as each contest's rules say; the results and rewards you earned stay with your account. Server logs, which contain IP addresses, are kept only as long as we need them for security and troubleshooting.

When you delete your account (section 10) we remove it and its data from the game server at once. Matches you played stay in the other players' history, and closed leaderboards keep their order, with your seat or line shown without a name. Copies in our hosting provider's backups are replaced on its normal backup cycle.

10.Your choices and deleting your account

• Delete your account in the app. On the Home screen open Settings (the gear) › অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছুন (Delete account), then confirm with মুছে দিন (Delete). Your phone needs to be online. This deletes your guest account, coins, statistics, rewards, contest entries and partner links from our server immediately, and resets the app on your phone. It cannot be undone.
• Without the app. Email support@technest.com.bd with the subject "Delete my Bangla Ludu account", your nickname and roughly when you last played. We may ask a question to find the right account, and we delete it within 30 days.
• A copy or a correction. Write to the same address to ask for a copy of the data your guest account holds, or to correct it — your nickname, for example.
• Notifications. Turn them off for Bangla Ludu in your phone's settings at any time.
• Uninstalling removes everything Bangla Ludu saved on your phone. It does not delete your guest account on the server — use one of the options above for that.

11.Android Backup and Google Play

Android Backup

If backup is turned on for your device, Android may include everything Bangla Ludu saved on your phone — settings, profile and the sign-in keys of your guest account — in the backup of your own Google account. Restoring that backup on a new phone brings back the same guest account. Android and Google do this under Google's privacy policy, and we never receive that backup. You can turn it off under Settings › Google › Backup.

Google Play

Downloading and updating Bangla Ludu through Google Play is subject to Google's privacy policy. The app may show Google Play's rating card or ask you to install an update; both are run by Google Play. Google shows us aggregate figures such as installs and crash rates, which do not identify you.

12.Children

Bangla Ludu is a game for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. There is no text or voice chat, and coins can never be bought with money. If you believe a child under 13 has a Bangla Ludu account, write to us at the address in section 14 and we will delete it.

13.Changes and future features

We may add features that change how Bangla Ludu handles information — for example signing in with a Google account to keep your progress across phones, or notifications about contests. If we do, we will update this policy before the feature reaches you, change the effective date at the top, and update the Data safety section of the Google Play listing. The current version of this policy is always at technest.com.bd/ludu-privacy.
